Welcome to the See You See Me: Landscapes website.
The site is aimed at P4 & P5 school children (7 - 9 year-olds.) The website complements the See You See Me television series of the same name but is also designed to be a stand-alone resource. For details of the TV series, click here.
The site is intended as a fun introduction to map skills and to finding out about the landscapes of the Highlands and Islands, Central Lowlands
and Southern Uplands of Scotland.
The character Goggs leads the user through the site by learning about map skills on an imaginary island and investigating landscapes with his interactive guide book.
There are three ways to view the site.
The (recommended) full screen, interactive Flash version
The normal, interactive Flash version
The basic, no frills HTML version
The website has been designed with the help of primary school teacher Cathie MacLeod and Geography teacher Phil Duffy. Every effort has been taken to match the activities offered in this site to the curriculum in order to create a stimulating learning experience.
Please read further to find out what the site offers and also how to get the best out of the site.
