Malaria effects
3,000 people a day die from malaria but it also has another consequence.18 People who survive can suffer many serious bouts of illness caused by the disease. As well as making people sick, malaria has a much wider effect on countries. With so many people infected and falling ill the earning power of the countries is greatly reduced, as sick people cannot work. As a result there are not the funds to successfully care for and treat the sick or eradicate the disease once and for all.
