Downloading the plug-ins

To view the flash version of this site you need the Macromedia Flash plug-in.

There are a number of ways of getting the plug-ins you need:

1. Visit the Macromedia Shockwave site and download the Flash plug-in for free. Their site offers plenty of advice and answers to common queries about plug-ins.

2. Many internet and other computer magazines have the plug-ins on free CD Roms they attach to each issue.

3. There is detailed information about Flash on the BBC's interactive Help pages.

4. If you've never downloaded anything from the internet before, a good place to start would be "Download Questions and Answers" from our beginner's internet service: BBC Webwise.

5. Your final option would be to install the latest version of your Internet browser which will have the plug-ins built in. Visit the home pages of Microsoft or Netscape.
