Why does Bitesize not cover more subjects?
A popular question indeed. We'd love to be able to cater for as many subjects as possible but, unfortunately, we've had to prioritise those that have been the most widely studied. We do take note of requests for specific subjects to be added and, hopefully we will get the opportunity to add to our range in the future.

Why do the English at BBC Schools have more content than you do?
BBC Education Scotland restricts its output to programmes and sites which are geared specifically and exclusively to the Scottish curriculum.

Where can I find out when a tv or radio programme is on?
The latest information can be found on our TV and Radio page. Keep an eye on our homepage or sign up to our Newsletter to be kept up to date with any last minute changes to the schedule.

There's a mistake in one of your sites.
Email us at education.scotland@bbc.co.uk and say where and what you've spotted, and if you're right, we'll get it fixed asap.

Where are the Teacher’s Notes?
They're found by accessing the Teacher's page.

Why don't you link to our school's website anymore?
We now link to the NGfL Scotland page which has an up-to-date record of all Schools on the Web. Individual schools can log into their database to maintain the correct details.

How can I order books/videos/tapes?
Have a look at the details on our BBC Shop page.

What are you working on?
Sign up to out free monthly Newsletter and we'll tell you!

What is in your Newsletter?
We keep you up-to-date with website releases, what is coming up in the month in terms of tv and radio programmes. Plus other developments scheduled for the month ahead.

Do the Newsletter or Teacher's Notes cost anything?
No, they're all free.

What other sites will be useful for me?
Have a look through our Web Links page.

Are you going to add more websites?
Yes, we're constantly working on new sites. Why not sign up to the Newsletter to keep up to date with our releases.

Why is Ask a Teacher closed?
Standard Grade Ask a Teacher is now an archive of previously asked questions. Higher Ask a Teacher only runs in the months coming up to the exams - ie February till June.

I wish to make a comment about one of your websites/ tv programmes.
Then Have Your Say.

How do I submit to The Galleries?
Get the submission details from The Galleries page.

How do I use your sites?
Each site is purpose built for the subject and age group. Go to the Teacher's page of the one you are interested in for details of how to use it.

How do your sites fit in to the curriculum?
Again, details are available on each individual site, in the Teacher's section or User's page.

How do I make a complaint about the BBC's educational output?
All complaints about the BBC, its programmes and its services should be sent via the BBC Complaints website.

If you are reporting a fault with a BBC Education Scotland website - for instance, a broken link, a spelling error, a factual inaccuracy, etc - then please fill in our feedback form.

It is important not to send technical or factual error reports to the BBC Complaints website, else we may not receive your email or be able to fix the error.
