Question What are the features of escarpments in Britain? Where are they found ? Does the rock type influence these landscapes? Do they have any distinctive landform features?
Answer 1. The features of an escarpment include " scarp slope, dip slope, dry valleys, coombes and clay vale.
2. Escarpments are found in a diagonal line across England from the Yorkshire coast on the North Sea to Hampshire coast on the English Channel.
3. Yes as in all landscapes the rock type has a direct influence on the landscape.
4. Yes they do have distinct landform features " see list of features in item 1 above.

If you check your class textbook, or ask your teacher to direct you to an appropriate book you should find all these features describe in detail.
