In an explanation of how a pyramidal peak is formed do you have to include how a corrie is formed too? As it says in the revision bite in brackets (see the formation of a corrie) in one part of the written explanation.

The formation of a pyramidal peak is related to the formation of corries around the sides of the mountain top. So yes you should start with the formation of the corries.
This is clearly explained in the Bitesize Revision textbook on page 43.
