Question I need to know the meanings of the following terms: accelerated erosion, sedimentation, deposition, and siltation.
Answer The meanings are as follows:
Accelerated erosion - were the nature processes of erosion have been speeded up.
Sedimentation - the deposition of sediment which may block hydrological systems such as rivers
Deposition - the dropping of material which has been picked up and transported by an erosive force such as wind, water or ice.

Siltation - fine grains of soil minerals ranging in size between clay and sand.
