Our concern in this revision section is to look more closely at the first purpose of writing which is examined in Standard Grade English: to convey information. This means that you are expected to write informatively on a given topic for your reader (but hopefully in an interesting way!). You will be given the opportunity to write informatively both in your examination and for your folio of coursework. The details which follow cover both possibilities.
