Things to do

Activities you can do at home with your child, based on themes covered in this site:

  • Your child could design their own line of clothes. They can make them as wild and wacky as they like. For inspiration they can create a mood board by sticking photos, magazine clippings, pieces of fabric, whatever interests them really, onto card or paper. They can pick the most interesting elements from the board and incorporate them into their designs. Who knows- they might be the next Alexander McQueen or Vivian Westwood!

  • They could make safety posters for around the home, highlighting the hazards involved in using equipment in the wrong way.

  • Using the "Make your own" section of the site, your child could design a top for their pop or sports idol, a charity event or even for a gift for Granny and Grandpa! They could then use fabric pens or paints on an old T- shirt to bring their design to life.
