Skechers shoes have been forced to withdraw a series of ads which depicted Christina as a scantily-clad nurse AND a slightly-injured patient after complaints from nursing unions. It seems that nurses have had enough of being depicted as sexy care-givers in saucy undies, and want a bit more respect, thank you VERY much.

A clearly irked Sandy Summers - the executive director of the Centre for Nursing Advocacy - told the Sun: "We understand the comic intent but this ad exploits the 'naughty nurse' and 'battleaxe' stereotypes that have plagued nursing."
