Show Two Result

Janet and Alexander were the second duo to be voted off.

Marti and Hannah came bottom with the judges, but who would be the second duo who would be leaving the show?

First of all Trevor Nelson was given the opportunity to save one of the bottom three couples - Luke and Natasha, Janet and Alexander or Hannah and Marti. He chose Luke and Natasha because he felt they had so much more to give.

This left to Janet and Alexander and Hannah and Marti to fight for survival in a sing-off.

But in the end it was announced that Janet and Alexander were the unlucky duo who would not be returning to sing tomorrow night.

"I've had fun, a lot of fun," said Janet.

I think the combination of Hannah and Marti made the public decide who would win. The personality of Hannah and the voice of Marti was sensational. The viewers were also persuaded by the judges constant down put of the couple, however the genuiness of the couple shown thru. Brendan and his partner were outstanding too, unlucky they ended up against Marti and Hannah. Well done to the BBC.

So sorry to lose John and Jocelyn - they really did lift my spirits every night (for different reasons) and made a truly great team - the JBs RULE! As for the final... I have to admit I don't like the man, but throughout the series Brendan's singing for me has had the edge (and Beverley has done a great job with him!). I think Hannah is doing brilliantly & Marti is coaching her really well-helping her to shine, without him taking over the performance-that’s what its all about, in my book! I think its really hard to sing slow songs, your voice is very exposed, unlike during a loud rock number. Hannah obviously worked hard to be her best for the very first show, so a big improvement may not be easy, but she DID improve in the sing-off. Well done, Hannah and well done Marti for encouraging her so much!
