Presenter George Lamb (Make My Body Younger, Big Brother’s Little Brother) is back to host the hour-long primetime show from inside the purpose built state-of-the-art Academy in Camden, London.
The in-demand presenter has just finished presenting Big Brother's Little Brother, The Fashion Project for ITV2 and still finds time for weekday 3-hour BBC 6 Music radio show.
George is no stranger to celebrities, having managed Lily Allen and the Audio Bullies before he turned his hand to presenting. He's also interviewed some of the biggest names in film and music, including 50 Cent, Gwen Stefani, Ian Brown and Lindsay Lohan.
But he's back to give us the low-down each day exclusively from inside The Academy. He'll be giving you the gossip on who's hacking it as a hairdresser, who’s getting along and of course he’ll be encouraging you to raise money for the BBC Children in Need Appeal.
Children in Need is a registered charity England & Wales no. 802052 and Scotland SC039557
The Academy is closed for another year and the scissors, curlers and straighteners have been stashed away. It’s been a rollercoaster ride, take a look back at some of the best moments.
This morning the trainees who are up for Celebrity Scissorhands Hairdresser of the Year were in for a surprise, a special guest and a twist to the finale proceedings.
