The 2008 BBC Children in Need Appeal is now underway and culminates with the star-studded BBC One telethon show on Friday November 14 at 7pm.
The theme for this year's BBC Children in Need Appeal is Do Something Different, challenging everyone to get creative and raise much needed funds for disadvantaged children and young people across the UK.
Last year, the British public helped raise a record-breaking £37million, every penny of which went directly to projects that make a real and positive difference to the lives of young people, right here in the UK.
