4. The wonder of war
'The wonder of war' is sung by Greek hero Achilles - in praise of himself. Style: satire; pop.
Menelaus and Paris meet in single combat, with the gods intervening to save Paris. The battle resumes and the Trojans are having the best of it. Patroclus tries to persuade Achilles to rejoin the Greeks, but Achilles is having none of it. Patroclus returns to battle dressed as Achilles.
