Hello Movie-Makers!

On the CBBC Me and My Movie UK Tour this summer, children aged 6-14 will get the chance to work with professional film-makers and actors to create their own films in a day.

To sign your children up for the free events, check out bbc.co.uk/cbbc/meandmymovie.

The closing date for applications is 5th July.

About CBBC Me and My Movie

CBBC Me and My Movie is an award-winning film-making initiative inspiring and enabling children across the UK to make their own movies and tell their own stories.

The CBBC Me and My Movie website provides an original 3D space where children can engage with the experience of film-making. Here children can learn more about film-making in the How To room with fun, interactive tutorials and have a go at editing footage in the Mash-Up room with pre-recorded clips and audio. Once they have made their own masterpiece they can upload, share and rate each others' films on the site.

The recently updated CBBC Me and My Movie film-maker's pack takes children through the stages of film-making from planning their story, through selecting shot-types to editing and uploading their movies.

Visit the CBBC Me and My Movie website to download your copy of the film-maker's pack and to find out more about this year's activities.
