Responsible for:

Overseeing film production, generating ideas for future productions, securing financial backing/managing budgets and liaising with production staff.

Salary:

£18,000 - £70,000+ an year.

Working hours:

Often long and irregular.

Qualifications:

Usually a degree or HND, sometimes a postgraduate qualification are desirable. Experience from jobs or school/college can also be helpful.

General requirements:

An interest in the film industry and knowledge of television are a must. Being good at networking and having good business and negotiation skills is also useful.
