Walk Through Time
This exciting interactive BBC website for Key Stage 2 explores streets, people and houses through history. Discover life during Roman, Viking, Tudor and Victorian times, and in the 1950s. Compare and contrast these periods through games and activities. The website does not aim to be a comprehensive guide to any one of these periods, but rather an exploration of change, development and chronology. This book looks at life in Roman Britain. Full of funny stories and facts, it is a terrific read. There are even some 'rotten recipes' for people who want to try authentic Roman food.

A Day in the Life of a Roman Centurion by Richard Wood

Follow a Roman Centurion's experiences during one very busy day. This book brings alive the world of the Roman soldier, from the daily drudgery of their military through to the exciting ways they had to worship their gods. A highly recommended read.
