gracias - thank you (Close your eyes and nod once)

por favor - please (Hold your palms together as if praying)

¿Qué es esto? - What is this? (Open your closed hand and see what's in your palm)

¿Cómo se dice? - How do you say it? (Move your hand away from your mouth)

¿Cómo se escribe? - How do you write it? (Write with an imaginary pencil)

No entiendo - I don't understand (Shrug your shoulders)
