The Tempest: Introduction to Summary
This Revision Bite gives you a summary of The Tempest, and shows you how the two extracts you are studying fit into the play as a whole.
You just need to know the basic plot, then work out what the people in the play are like, and how they get along. You should also think about how actors should perform the play to an audience, and the main 'big' topics - such as freedom, power, forgiveness - that it deals with.
