Grids

Introduction

Grids have 2 axes. The horizontal axis is called the x-axis and the vertical axis is called the y-axis. These axis can be used to find a point on a grid.

These axes can be extended to include negative numbers as well as positive numbers. This is called a grid with four quadrants.
