Operations
Introduction
There are four operations in maths that help us to problem-solve. They are addition, subtraction, division and multiplication.
No matter what problem you are trying to solve, using one of these four operations - addition, subtraction, division and multiplication - will help you to work it out. You will also need to know how the different operations work as opposites.
But - how do you know which operation to use?
