This website offers a fun way for your child to learn about the ancient Indus civilisation. There are four sections and a Press room activity for children aged 7-11 years.

Introduction to the Mission
The children meet Professor Indus, a friendly archaeologist.

Expedition
The children are guided to Mohenjo-Daro by Professor Indus. On the way, they learn about the location and physical features of the Indus Valley.

Lost City
Professor Indus and the children visit the Lost City of Mohenjo-Daro to explore how it was planned and built.

Get Digging
The children learn about an archaeological dig with Professor Indus. They then view some artefacts to learn more about the Indus people.

Museum
The children visit the museum where they see more artefacts and view Mohenjo-Daro's greatest - and most mysterious - treasure.

Press Office
Once they've learned all about the ancient Indus civilisation, the children visit the Press office, where they learn how to tell facts from opinions before they produce and print their very own Indus newspaper!

Learning together
Many children will enjoy the games more if they play with a friend - they can put their heads together to solve problems or beat Professor Indus at the Dig game!
