Fact and Opinion
Fact or Opinion

Do you know the difference between a FACT and an OPINION?

A FACT is a statement that can be proven as true or false.

FactExample:
The ancient city that we know as Mohenjo-Daro was built on two manmade mounds.

An OPINION is someone's view, belief or way of thinking about something.

OpinionExample:
Some archaeologists believe that a big natural disaster put an end to the Indus civilisation.

Take our Fact or Opinion quiz and see if you can identify which statements are facts and which are opinions!
