  • Which kind of music do you like?
Try to give more than just the name of the kind of music you like. Add details such as when, where and why.
  • 2. Wyt ti’n hoffi cerddoriaeth Gymraeg?
  • Do you like Welsh music?
Don’t just answer with a simple yes or no, and try to support your answer with a reason. If you don’t like Welsh music, this is an opportunity for you to say what you prefer, and why.

  • Have you ever been to a concert or gig?
Use the roedd/oedd form when answering. Don’t just name the singer or group, give as many details as possible. Where, when, why, the cost of the tickets and how many people were there. Did you enjoy the concert?

  • Whose concert would you like to see?
This is a good opportunity for you to use different sentence patterns and different tenses. Remember to express your opinion and support your opinion with reasons.

  • Who is your favourite singer or group?
You must try to give a detailed response to this question, don’t just name your favourite singer or group. Give additional information about your interests if possible - what, when, why and with who.

  • Where do you usually listen to music?
Try to use different sentence patterns, tenses and different persons of the verb in your response to mention all the different places you listen to music. You could also mention what you listen to and say why.
