Spanish-speaking people are as keen on a bargain as anyone. You'll
find small ads in newsapapers or on notice boards and you use the
same techniques as you would for dealing with them in English.
Small ads also crop up in exam questions!

- Verdad - The ad says the sleeping bag was only used once, which makes it nearly new.
- Falso - Andrés, not Carlota, is selling the drum-kit (musical instrument).
- Verdad - The magazines and comics do cost €10.
- Falso - You have to call between 7 and 9, not before 7.
- Falso - She isn't selling the kitten. She's giving it away.
