Exam tips

  • Use the teacher's comments to help you build up interesting answers which will earn good marks.
  • Always include as much information as possible in your answers and try to make a good impression on the examiner.
  • Begin with the basic information required to answer the question and then try to extend your basic answer with extra material and good vocabulary such as link words. (ansin, ina dhiaidh sin, fosta etc)
  • Try to give opinions and explanations as well as the bare facts which the answers require.
  • Try to use a variety of vocabulary and phrases in order to score high marks.
