In your Reading exam you may have to show that you understand personal information about people, for example advertisements for penfriends in magazines. This type of question would be one of the last (or hardest) on the Foundation paper.

Stephan lives in Germany and is looking for an international penfriend. Read his advert below.
Hallo! Ich heiße Stephan. Ich bin 15 Jahre alt und wohne in Freiburg, einer kleinen Stadt. Ich wohne mit meinen Eltern und meiner Schwester Tina in einem Einfamilienhaus. Ich spiele gern Fußball und Basketball. Meine Lieblingsmannschaft ist Bayern-München. Ich spiele jedes Wochenende Fußball, auch wenn es regnet. In meinem Zimmer habe ich vier Bayern-München Poster und zwei Schals an der Wand hängen. Letzten Winter bin ich nach München gefahren und habe ein Spiel gesehen. Leider haben wir verloren (2-0), aber es war trotzdem toll! Ich habe kein Haustier, weil meine Schwester eine Allergie gegen Tiere hat. Der Hund ist mein Lieblingstier und meine Lieblingsmusik ist alles, was laut ist!
