Writing question: Friendship

In your controlled writing assessments, you will have to write at least 100 words for each task. If you are aiming for grade C and above, you will have to write at least 200 words for each. The practice exercises here are mainly shorter, just to help you gain confidence in your writing.

• First look carefully at the list of questions. If there are any words you don't understand, look them up in a dictionary.
• Write your answer on paper, to compare with the sample answer on the next page.
