This Revision Bite will give you practice in creating a presentation about special occasions.

Presentation exercise

In the exam your presentation should last between 30 seconds and a minute and a half. Michelle's text is about the right length. Listen to her presentation and time it with the on-screen timer.

Michelle fills the time well because she includes details about a variety of occasions she celebrates. She also includes verbs in a variety of tenses, present, past and future to gain a high grade pass.

Now read the presentation aloud to yourself and check how long this takes using the on-screen timer.

To help her remember her presentation Michelle could take some pictures or drawings into the exam. What kind of pictures would help her? Sketch between five and ten pictures she could use on a piece of paper.
