'Pompier' and 'plombier' sound very similar. 3. ambulance driver often gets called to the scene of accidents Listen carefully for cognates (words which sound similar in both languages). 4. office worker doesn't like working on a computer 5. nurse likes helping people 6. lorry driver he used to be a taxi driver 7. newsagent he has a lot of contact with people Remember that "journal" (newspaper) becomes "journaux" (newspapers) and therefore sounds quite different in the plural.
