Numéro un. Je suis Marc. Nous passons toujours nos vacances chez ma tante qui habite en Espagne. Nous y allons en voiture.

Numéro deux. Je m'appelle Laurent. L'année prochaine, je vais en Angleterre avec des amis. Nous allons voyager en ferry.

Numéro trois. Je m'appelle Vincent. A Pâques nous sommes allés en Belgique par le train. Nous avons pris le TGV à la gare du Nord.

Numéro quatre. Moi, je suis Dalila. Je vais passer deux semaines au Maroc avec mes parents. Nous allons prendre l'avion à Lille pour Marrakech.

Numéro cinq. Je m'appelle Christine. Je suis allée une fois en Italie avec mon école. Nous avons fait le voyage en car.

1. I am Marc. We always spend our holidays at my aunt's, who lives in Spain. We go there by car.

2. My name is Laurent. Next year I'm going to England with some friends. We are going to travel by ferry.

3. My name is Vincent. At Easter we went to Belgium by train. We took the TGV from the Gare du Nord.

4. I am Dalila. I am going to spend two weeks in Morocco with my parents. We are going to fly from Lille to Marrakech.

5. My name is Christine. I've been to Italy once with school. We travelled by coach.

6. My name is Fabienne. We visited Greece. We toured the islands in a sailing boat.

Exam tips

  • The topic of holidays is usually covered in the past tense so make sure you revise relevant phrases in the perfect tense e.g. 'je suis allé(e)', 'je suis resté(e)', 'j'ai visité'.

  • If a question consists of two parts like the ones in this unit, it is better to try and do part of the question at the first listening opportunity, and use the second chance to listen to fill any gaps you may still have and double check the answers you already have.
