Text 1 is an article from a website. Below is a screenshot of the original web page that the article was taken from. Certain features have been numbered. Can you spot the features that are only found on web pages?

2. Search box: Lots of websites include a search box on their pages to help you find exactly what you're looking for. 1. Different colours: There is a lot of colour here, but using colour is not limited to websites.
3. Drop down box: This enables you to jump to a different section of the website and is, therefore, an interactive feature.4. Index: Although this index is in the form of links (ie it doesn't give page numbers), indexes are found in other texts such as books.
7. Print button: This is the biggest clue that the text is online and not from a paper document.5. Images: Websites often use images to make their pages more colourful, but other texts often contain images too - especially leaflets and advertisements.
8. Links: The Contact us and Help links are obvious interactive features that are only found on web pages.6. Pages: Texts from all genres can contain more than one page.
