Viewing your clips

When you have captured your video footage and imported any other clips, images or sound files, you should be able to view them in a project clips pane. Different software packages call the clips pane by various names such as:

  • project window
  • clips pane
  • collections pane

The image below is a screenshot of a clips pane, and you will see that it is split in two. On the left is a file hierarchy, where the collections folder and movie clips are. On the right hand side are thumbnails of video clips, images and a sound file, all stored in the collections folder.
