Text: Teacher's Help. Drawing of famous people. Back.
In this area the children will see and read about the life of Florence Nightingale. There is particular emphasis on her time spent in the Crimea. To move the story on, the children click the 'next' button. When the children come across 'hot spots' (areas outlined in colour) they click on them for extra information (Please note: the children have to close these pop up windows to move the story on). In this area they will find photographs, a recording of Florence's voice and a song. After completing the area the children will be given the choice of doing the quiz or looking at the learning area again.

The children can get help at any time by clicking on the help icon.
