How it fits into the National Curriculum

The activities on the site are all based on the work your child will have been doing in school. They are taken from Year's 3 and 4 of the National Strategies for Literacy and Numeracy, and from the National Curriculum Programmes of Study for Science.

This website has been built around the English National Curriculum; however, the games and activities are suitable for children of the appropriate age across the United Kingdom. You can find more detailed information on the National Curriculum teacher's pages.

Your child will be able to test knowledge and skills learned in school by solving puzzles set in exciting story contexts. If your child is in Year 3, s/he may need a little help in solving some of the activities.

You can consult the government Learning Journey guides by following these links -
