Write a report

Do you have strong views on any of the issues on the Citizen X website?

Maybe you've been directly involved in helping to improve things for your fellow citizens.

Tell us what you think in about 200 words and the best stories will be published on the Newsround website!

Here are Newsround's tips for writing the report:

  • You need to write clearly, and use language that people of all ages understand.
  • Think about what the point of the story is: What are you trying to say?
  • What is the most important part of the story? This should be your opening line.
  • Try to make it interesting to everyone, not just those who like what it's about - you have to get all readers interested.

You need to include your first name, age and place (town or county) where you live. We can't publish your report without this information.

Please get the reports to us as soon as possible! Go to Newsround's site to see what other people have written.
