Tired students fear missing out on social media updates


The fear of missing out on the latest news is fuelling overnight use of social media by many teenagers, whose lack of sleep is affecting their school work, students from Cheshire have found.

BBC News School Reporters from Tarporley High School explain why they are forsaking sleep to stay in touch with what their friends are doing by following social media updates.

The National Union of Teachers has said it is concerned about the habit.
