School Reporters in Cornwall have already graced the tarmac at the Royal Naval Airbase at Culdrose for a VIP trip and on Friday they returned to see the Olympic torch arrive ahead of its 70-day trip around the UK.
With around three hours before the Olympic Flame was set to land on UK soil, Jacob (from left), torchbearer Henry and Tanisha bumped into BBC presenter Jane Hill.
The Mounts Bay Academy students saw all the final preparations taking place and even made national TV with an interview on the BBC News Channel with Jane.
The BBC's torch relay website at www.bbc.co.uk/torchrelay is the perfect place to keep across everything, watch the torch's journey continuously and get full details of the route.
School Report is an annual BBC project which helps young people make their own news reports for a real audience.
