School Reporters Matthew, Lauren and Reginald visited The Lowry Theatre in Salford, which was hosting the annual Songs of Praise School Choir of the Year competition.

The students from All Hallows Business, Enterprise and Sports College in Salford got an exclusive interview with 2009 X-Factor winner Joe McElderry, who was making a special guest appearance.

Joe advised the young reporters on the importance of rehearsing and then revealed that he used to be obsessed with hospitals and wanted to be a doctor or nurse!

The School Reporters also grilled singer Russell Watson, who was helping judge the competition, and Aled Jones, the show's presenter.
