Childline
Childline is the UK's free 24 hour confidential helpline for children in distress or danger. Trained volunteer counsellors comfort, advise and protect children and young people who may feel they have nowhere else to turn.

Whatever the problem, Get Connected provides a free, confidential helpline that gives young people under 25 the support and information they need to decide what they want to do next. This includes a free referral to over 13,000 different services.

Breathing Space
Breathing Space is a free and confidential helpline in Scotland for any individual, who is experiencing low mood or depression, or who is unusually worried and in need of someone to talk to.

CALM (Campaign Against Living Miserably)
CALM is a campaign targeted at raising awareness of depression amongst 15 - 24 year old young males, encouraging them to seek help and talk about their problems. Confidential advice is offered via their freephone helpline.

Youth2Youth
On two evenings a week this national young person’s helpline offers confidential emotional support via phone, email or online chat to anyone aged 11-19. All calls answered by a trained young volunteer.

The Place2Be
The Place2Be is a charity that works inside schools to improve the emotional wellbeing of children, their families and the whole school community. They offer school-based counselling services to children and their parents or carers as well as accredited training to school staff members.

Parentline works with adults, children and young people providing information and emotional support to families and a 24 hr helpline to talk about any worries or problems.

Winston's Wish
Winston's Wish offers practical support and guidance to bereaved young people, families and anyone concerned about a grieving child. They believe that support at the right time can enable young people to live with their grief and rebuild positive futures.

The National Youth Advocacy Service
Offers information, advice, advocacy and legal representation to children and young people up to the age of 25, through a network of advocates throughout England and Wales. Young people with a problem can call if they would like some advice or just want to speak confidentially to an advisor.
