School Radio Maths resources aim to bring fun to the numeracy hour by providing a lively and entertaining way for pupils to develop and consolidate their skills.

The focus is on mental maths - a key skill identified within the Numeracy Strategy at KS1 and KS2.

  • Counting Songs

    Age 3 – 5

    Have fun singing along to this collection of popular counting songs, which includes both video and audio. The emphasis is on building children's confidence with the numbers 1 to 10.

  • Megamaths

    Age 7 – 9

    The series is ideal for consolidating mental maths skills at this age group. The emphasis is on fun and building pupils' confidence with a range of numeracy objectives.

  • Maths Challenge

    Age 9 – 11

    A maths resource for KS2 that will really help to sharpen pupils' mental maths skills. Programmes adopt a quiz format and they're simple to use...and lots of fun!
