 Maths Challenge aims to help top juniors practise and consolidate their mental maths skills. The programmes adopt a quiz format, with three separate rounds, allowing for flexible use with either the whole class or small groups.

| Programmes link to the mental maths objectives of the National Curriculum for Maths at Years 5 and 6 and equivalent levels in Scotland and Northern Ireland. The series also targets 'Key Objectives' for Years 5 and 6 identified in the National Numeracy Strategy. |
