Context:
Bud Flanagan and Chesney Allen became famous in the 1930s as part of the 'Crazy Gang' - a group of popular entertainers based on three double-acts.
During the war they released a number of popular songs including 'Underneath the arches', 'We're gonna hang out the washing on the Siegried Line'...and probably best-known of all, 'Run rabbit run'.
