Focus: the physical geography of the city and the ancient district of Fort Cochin in particular.
Key learning objectives: to identify the key areas of the city and the main characteristics of each; to explore in more detail the Fort Cochin district of the city.
Summary: Sanjay takes Ajay for a journey around the streets of Fort Cochin, beginning at the beach - where the Chinese fishing nets reach out into the narrow channel between Fort Cochin and Vypin Island - and ending at the Parade Ground (where Vasco da Gama was buried in the 'Dutch Church').
Story: 'Mahout' (part 2). The festival parade arrives at Devi Temple in Fort Cochin where Prema must play her part in the celebrations.
