Geography
An elephant with 'mahout' in KochiCome to Kochi explores the vibrant city in the south west of India.

The programmes link directly to the National Curriculum programme of study for Geography at KS2 and, in particular, to the study of 'a locality in a country that is less economically developed'. It builds directly on Unit 10 of QCA's Scheme of Work for Geography - 'A village in India' and expands the work found there to explore the Indian city.

The webpages which support the programmes include additional audio, pictures, transcripts, maps and diagrams and Teacher's Notes. An ideal way to explore a popular region for geographical study in a fun and stimulating way.
