Drama
Taking part in School Radio drama programmesSchool Radio drama is an interactive learning medium which provides opportunities to support and extend pupils' learning across a range of curriculum areas.

Each series provides carefully structured language and drama activities that encourage imaginative, co-operative work. They provide a rich stimulus to fully support teachers who are less confident in using drama and can be adapted and developed by those with more drama experience. Each programme is designed to provide a complete, simple-to-use, drama session that will take no longer than 40 minutes.
Brief details of Drama programmes:
Let's Make a Story
Age 5 - 7
An ideal introduction to drama, with activities that stimulate classroom co-operation and language skills. Programmes link to well-known stories that will allow children to explore storytelling through drama.
First Steps in Drama
Age 7 - 9
Offers creative drama opportunities based on stories that usually link to other curriculum areas, especially history, PSHE / Citizenship and English. The series offers new programmes in the spring term.
Drama Workshop
Age 9 - 12
Provides a flexible, cross-curricular resource meeting drama and other subject goals.
