Leonard's Story

He died on his 21st birthday

Lance Corporal Leonard Ford was killed at Kitchners Wood on 25th April 1915. It was the first time the awful gas weapon was used. He died on his 21st birthday. His grave is at the New Irish Farm Cemetery France (Grave ref: XIII C 13).
