McLaughlan's Story

The death of my great uncle, who died from wounds, November 1916, resonated down the generations of my family. His sisters were devasted by the death of this only son. It was in July 2007 that my daughter finally visited his grave in Dernancourt near Amiens, the only one of the family to date to do so.
