Alfred Chappell's Story

Uncle Alf was my father's brother, killed in action 1918

My father, Albert Henry Chappell. who was also a soldier of the First World War, told me that he once met his brother Alf on a railway station somewhere in France and gave him some cigarettes. They parted there and he never saw him again.
