William John's Story

Pte. W.J. Jenkins 10276 of the 2nd. battallion Duke of Wellingtons Regiment died 5.05.1915 in the battle for Hill 60 nr. Ypres.

Believe he died in one of the first poison gas attacks of WW1

Buried in The Divional Cemetry nr. Ypres.

Landed in France as part of the B.E.F. on September 6th. 1914
